Praise the Lord, O My Soul!

Psalms 103:1- 5 David the Psalmist says, “Bless the Lord O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all of His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

In this scripture, David is giving pure worship unto God. If you notice there is no mention of enemies, foes, or threats. There are no complaints; there no petitions, this is just pure worship of God. No clouds on the horizon. No notes of disappointment, no lines of sadness. It’s all joyous, thankful, overflowing praise, rising from the hearts of those who have been given full and eternal salvation.

1 Corinthians 1:30 reads, “But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto wisdom, and righteousness. And sanctification, and redemption 31That according as it is written, He that glorieth, him glory in the Lord.” Let us all Praise the Lord, with all our soul, just like the psalmist David.
