You Owe Me Something

You owe me something. I know, I know, you've probably heard that enough from creditors and the IRS. But I don't want your money. No, you owe me something that's worth more than any silver or gold. What you owe me is of supreme value, because it originated with God. You owe me something that God has given to you in abundance. Everybody has it, but not everybody will share it. It can't be wrapped up in a bow, but it can be seen and felt. It's something that I really, really, really need from you. Even if you find me annoying or loathsome, I'm still entitled to it. You owe it to me continually--it's the gift that keeps on giving! In fact, what you owe me, I, in turn, must also give to you. You owe me......love: "Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law" (Romans 13:8).
