Calling Evil Good and Good Evil
In Isaiah 5:20-21 we read, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!" We see in our society that yet once again, men are praising homosexuality and lesbianism with the Supreme court ruling that was handed down recently. They struck down DOMA "Defense of Marriage Act." So it looks like California will once again allow men and men to get "married" and women and women to get "married." God has plainly spoken out against homosexuality and lesbianism in his word. 1 Cor.6:9 we read, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality." Also in Rom.1:26-27 we read, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile passions: for their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due." Men can vainly reason all they want about the matter of "same sex marriages," but God and his will is just as clear and plain on the question today as he when he wrote it in the above verses from the first century. Paul warning about immorality in Eph.5:5-6 said, "For this ye know of a surety, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience." Indeed empty words do not change the will of God.
