Pontiff Angers Muslims
There are many things I disagree with what the Pope says and does, but when he quoted this week a 14 century Byzantine Emperor, that said for Mohammed to spread his religion with the sword was evil and inhuman, I cannot disagree. Muslims all over the world are upset. But I wonder if they would be upset with Winston Churchills quote:
"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. Jesus said, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6. This doesnt leave any room to get to God and to heaven through Islam and its false prophet Mohammed. But then again, this leaves out the Pontiff and his followers also. Have you come to Jesus? .
