Safe Sin?

We hear a lot in our society about "safe sex" in the media and in general. I suppose that a big percentage of what people are really trying to uphold, are sinful lifestyles. You could say that they are advocating "safe sin." The Bible is plain in it’s warning against immorality. "But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience." Eph.5:3-6. God has ordained, in the nature of things, that immorality carries a price tag with it. All sorts of venereal diseases are spread and flourish in the realm of immorality. Folks who live by the "safe sin" philosophy in life are simply playing with fire. They may "get away" with it for a while, but so often they get caught by their sin. And most certainly they will get caught in the day of judgment. The only way to be truly safe when it comes to sin, is not to do it! Immorality is not only hazardous to one’s physical health, but it is a spiritual cancer of the soul. Paul said I Cor.6:18, "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body." He continues by saying what we ought to do with our bodies, "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s."vs.20. Let no one be deceived by the vain and empty words of men on this matter.
