God Never Sleeps
As this day winds down and night falls, we’re reminded of one simple truth: God never sleeps. When we lie down to rest, He stays awake. When the world grows dark, His watchful eyes stay open.
God is always watching over you.
The psalmist says in Psalms 121:3, “He who keeps you will not slumber.” God is not like us. He doesn’t get tired or need rest. Even when you feel alone, He's actively present. He watches over your home, your heart, and your life.
We should find rest in knowing God’s in control. Since God never sleeps, you can. You don’t need to carry every worry to bed. Lay your burdens down, because He is still working. Matthew 11:28 reminds us, come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This highlights true peace and security that comes from God. True peace transcends external circumstances and is rooted in faith.
We must trust His 24/7 care. He’s the Shepherd who never dozes off. He sees what you cannot, guards where you cannot. While others may forget, God always remembers.
Tonight, as you pillow your head to sleep, remember this: God will be awake all night. Talk to Him, trust Him, and let your heart rest in His perfect care.
