Kindness

Have you ever prayed for people in the world to show more kindness and be less of a “me” generation? The act of kindness will never fade from the lives we touch.

The definition of kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

How can we apply this to spiritual kindness? God is a God of loving kindness.

Jeremiah 9:24 tells us, but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. Being like Christ is something we should strive to mimic. Christian kindness will impact our future generations.

Christian kindness describes our Christian character. Christian kindness is tenderhearted. Christian kindness shows the real value in people from

God’s perspective.

We should practice putting on kindness everyday of our lives as we read in

Colossians 3:12,Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. When you show kindness, it will never disappear.

Always remember these few key points:

  • When you touch lives with your kindness, your works will never go unnoticed.
  • When you do something good it takes you a long way.
  • When you practice an act of kindness, it doesn’t just take you a long way, but that kindness will be reciprocated to your loved ones when you are long gone.
  • When you show others kindness, that kindness will always be remembered by God.
  • The kindness you show to others will never escape the eyes of God.

Let us praise God for showing us what true kindness that endureth forever as we read in Psalms 117:  O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise ye the Lord.
