The Judgement of God Begins at the House of God
We read in 1Peter 4:17-19…”17For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18Now ‘If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?’ 19Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.” Time, here is the word Kairos an ancient Greek word meaning ‘the right moment, a critical moment, or an opportune moment.’ This “time” is not that of the hands of the clock. Heaven is much like and embassy. It has representative locations to serve in the interest of eternity. These locations are called the Church. The Church is a place to worship God and a place for people can get information about Heaven and how we as Christians should function on earth.
The purpose of an embassy on earth is designed to leverage influence and if that certain community cooperates there is benefits from the U.S. had to offer such as freedom, resources, and safety.
The Heavenly embassy is to let the people of society know that, if they follow God, benefits are offered that will be better, families will be stronger, and there will be a better order in society and benefits will last for eternity.
But what would happen if an embassy shut down? There would be no freedom. There would be no resources. There would be no safety. Life will not be better. Families will become weak and there will be no order in society. The positive influence and leverage are limited or loss.
What is the purpose of judgement of God? It is designed to show who the real Christians are and who are acting for show. While Satan is bringing pressure against the church, God will use this opportunity to reveal His true church.
We are living in a Post Christian Era. We are no longer living as our grandparents lived where education was faith based. Lessons are no longer taught on how the Christian framework, families and decency should be represented. It’s time that we stand for Jesus Christ. It is not a critical moment, an opportune moment’ to stand on our faith. People need a heavenly embassy (the church) to come to when they are downtrodden and seeking a refuge for their soul. A place where peace and comfort can be found.
