Anti Scientist

There is an upcoming debate: "Bill Nye ‘The Science Guy' is slated to debate creationist Ken Ham, the founder of Kentucky's Creation Museum, on Feb.4." I was watching a video about this debate. The young lady was making a point about the "fact of evolution" and then proceeded to say those who believe in creation are being "Anti Scientist." First, what does one mean by "evolution?" If you mean, special evolution, that is, limited changes within species, no problem, the Bible affirms this and the evidence shows it. Look at all the various breeds of dogs, cows, cats and so on. We see lots of changes within the various species of animals. However if you are talking about the general theory of evolution, the theory that from amoebas to fish to reptiles to mammals to monkey to man, sorry but the evidence is not there. It is just a theory. The word science means "to know," but "theory" does not know, just guessing. No problem with true science. The various laws of science harmonize perfectly with what the Bible teaches. For example, the 2nd law of thermodynamics, everything is wearing out and moving toward a state of equilibrium. "And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail." Heb.1:10-12. No problem with true science, that is, "to know." It is just the theories that create problems. "O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called." 1 Tim.6:20. Pseudo-science is the problem, not real verified science! Yes people can believe whatever nonsense they want, but only truth will stand scientific testing and the day of judgment.
