After-birth Abortion

I saw an article recently about those promoting an "after-birth abortion" and here is their reasoning: "The authors therefore concluded that "what we call ‘after-birth abortion' (killing a newborn) should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled." The article went on to say, "They preferred to use the phrase "after-birth abortion" rather than "infanticide" to "emphasize that the moral status of the individual killed is comparable with that of a fetus." I would have to say that this a logical conclusion, if it is ok to kill a baby in the womb as many folks argue, why not kill the baby after it is born? Of course the answer to both actions is that both are wrong, because murdering a human being is wrong. "For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet, and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." It is scary to think that people can get so far off track. What will be next, that the mentally handicapped or that old folks are not worthy of living either? Listen to this quote from the article, "Referring to the term "after-birth abortion", Dr Stammers added: "This is just verbal manipulation that is not philosophy. I might refer to abortion henceforth as antenatal infanticide." The truth of the matter is, whether a baby is unborn, new born, or grows to become a toddler, an adolescent, or to adulthood: murdering a human is wrong! "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man." Gen.9:6. Others through history have tried to sell murder in one form or another; but be not be deceived by such vain and empty reasoning.
