"Cryonics"

I saw on the news that Larry King is planning on having his body frozen when he dies, which is called "Cryonics." The theory is that in the future when medicine and technology advance, that he can be "revived" from his frozen state and then be treated with the new medical remedies. First problem is how do you thaw out a human being to make a person to live again? People freeze to death all the time, but they are not able to bring them back to life. The report is that he doesn't has much faith in the afterlife, so I guess he is trusting in something to give him some hope in his death, to have some kind of future. But he is living in a false hope, and a dream world of what might be someday. Others have been put faith and trust in such non- sense like the promise of 72 virgins waiting for those who martyr themselves for Allah. For me I put my trust in the Living Christ, who came forth from the grave. His resurrection assures me that I will be raised from the dead, not with a wishfully thawed out old, diseased body. "Inasmuch as he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." Acts 17:31. I am looking for a glorified, immortal body like unto the Lord's. "Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. And every one that hath this hope set on him purifieth himself, even as he is pure." I John 3:2-3. I think trusting in the risen Christ is more logical and credible, than the desperation hope of "Cryonics" and the possible cures of tomorrow. One fact for sure, even with the cures we have and the new ones yet may be discovered, we are still going to DIE!
