iDeath

guess you heard that Steve Jobs, the genius behind iMac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad died recently from pancreatic cancer. He was 56 years old. Apple had become the most valuable company in the country. Yet in spite of all the great successes, with all the advancements in modern medicine, and billions and billions of dollars in assets, Steve Jobs could not stop "iDeath" from coming to him. Death is described as the King of terrors in Job 18:14. It is appointed unto man once to die, Heb.9:27. We cannot sidestep this appointment as hard as we try. Sometimes we die young, sometimes we die in middle age, and sometimes we die in old age, but "iDeath" will come for us all. Steve Jobs said one time, to live life each day like it was your last. So true if we keep in mind, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" When we seek to live life and get the most benefit each day we live, it is good, if we are servants of God, and spiritual matters help shape and direct our choices and decisions in life. Jesus said "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." Matt.24:44. But if we seek to live life for only the things of this life, we will be the biggest losers, in eternity. "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." Matt.16:25. Are we serving the Lord Jesus in sincerity and in truth? Are we seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness? There are two facts for sure for each of us, "iDeath" is coming to all of us, and all us must give account of ourselves a the "iJudgment." Are you ready for these 2 events? Jesus make s it possible for us to ready for both these events, "iDeath" & "iJudgment."
