Pride Bride
I was watching the Canadian news channel the other night. They had a report about homosexual marriages that have been "legalized" in some of the Provinces. There was an interesting title used in one of the interviews called "Pride Bride." The meaning being, pride taken from the "gay pride" title and the word bride carrying the idea about a wedding taken place. It is sad that folks have been bent on seeking approval for their wicked lifestyles. The Bible is very plainly spoken on the topic of homosexuality and lesbianism. "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind." I Cor.6:9. Here Paul points out the homosexuals are wrong. Consider Rom.1:26-27 we read, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet." God has told us forthrightly that homosexuality and lesbianism is sinful. Now if folks would humble themselves, and look at what God has said on the topic, they would see the need to repent. Its bad enough to live in sin, but when people are proud of it, its even worse. Consider Jer.6:15a, "Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush:" You can have folks who fall into sin, yet be ashamed and embarrassed about it, but then you can have folks who sin and feel no shame, even be proud of their sin, like the "Pride Bride" people. May God grant the time for these folks to repent and come to their senses.
